About this simulation

This is one instant in a simplified, grid-connected system

Moving time changes the sunlight; it does not simulate a whole day's battery history — battery level is a separate input

The moving dots show direction, not elapsed time

Assumptions: a 6 kW array, a smooth daylight curve from 06:00 to 18:00, a 5 kWh battery with a 2.5 kW charge/discharge limit, and no conversion losses

Cloud cover reduces the illustrative curve; it is not a weather forecast — appliance values are example loads, held constant at the selected instant

Home demand comes first; excess solar charges the battery, then exports to the grid

The battery supplies a shortfall before grid power is imported; a full battery cannot charge and an empty one cannot supply power
